Well it’s taken me just under 2 months, but I have finally got over the 2st loss, 2st 1lb to be precise! I have been norty to be honest. I have not been pointing properly, so it’s all my fault, plus one weekend went out the window when we took the MIL away and ate out each night.
So my average is 1 – 1 ½ lbs a week right now, meaning I would lose another 7st by the wedding going the way I am. If I step it up is should be more and allow for Xmas time etc. I have decided to start boxing on the Wii again and we will both be swimming to 1 or 2 times a week plus David still wants to get the treadmill so that should help.
Well onto the next Stone! :o)

17/05 - Weigh In: 2st here I come.
I have been norty and not updated for a while. Things have been a little busy but the weight loss is going okay. I only lost a pound last week. I was sure I would have put on as I was very bad and didn’t point, so I am very pleased with that. I need to step it up but I only have 5lbs to go till I hit 2st, which is excellent. I would love to get below 20st by the end of the year, but it would mean losing between 11 and 12lbs a month, so I am not too sure if it is realistic but I will give it a good go. Hopefully it won’t be too long till I can get the running machine so that I can start walking at home. I really can’t face walking outside with people staring right now.
Anyway the reason I have been busy is due to all the research I have been doing. We have been planning the wedding and honeymoon and everything is coming together really well. We will be flying out with our friends to Toronto and staying there for 2 or 3 nights and then travelling to Niagara Falls for another 3 or 4 nights so that we can get married. It will be in the Oakes Garden Theatre, the only place we can do it with the falls in the background. I am super excited already.
While our friends have decided to go to Hawaii for a week once we have gotten hitched, we will be off on a road trip in Northern California for our honeymoon. I am going to be booking it all through Virgin in mid Aug using out clubcard vouchers.
I have even found a wedding planner in Niagara who will take care of everything for me out there. All I have to do is get us there and sort out the outfits. God knows what I will go for. There is no point in ordering anything until the last minute so that I know what my measurements will be.
Anyway... that’s all for today :o)

26/04 - Weigh In: Chasing down the 25's :o)
Well after putting on a lb last week I am pleased to report a 3lb weight loss this week, which means I have lost 5% and hit my first goal. I had been pretty good and have started drinking extra water in the form squash which I have felt better for.
I have been looking at treadmills that we can both use. David wants to start running and I would like to start walking more. I still feel self conscious when we go out for walks, so any help to lose more would be great. Exercising is so hard when you’re the size I am though and D doesn’t seem to understand that. It’s not like he is carrying another person when he is trying to exercise like me!
Nothing much going on at work right now, I am kinda stuck where I am till we win the lottery. I have nearly paid off the extra we spent on holiday and in the next few weeks; Miranda and I will be going to Virgin to get some pricing on the Wedding in Canada and the honeymoon. M & Eddie will be coming with us but want to go on to Hawaii once we head of on our honeymoon. I am thinking road trip right now and D seems to agree, he just won’t decide on the 3 options I had given him. I really want it to be something that we remember. I suppose I need to start thinking about my dress and the type of thing I want. I am sure it will all come together fine.

13/04 - Weigh In
Well I am very pleased to report a 5lb loss. I think it was to do with all the walking we done in NYC but it does me I have lost 1st and 3lbs in total. I just feel like its one stone down and onto the next one now.
I am now looking forward to hitting my 1st Goal and also going below 25st. It might look crazy to some people wanting to be that weight in the first place, but it's going in the right direction and that’s the main thing.
Well it’s back to work tomorrow after having nearly 2 weeks off but it’s also back onto the WW plan and pointing everything. I don’t feel prepared but I am sure it will work out right. We are also planning on keeping up with some walking, so I will plan a slow cook dinner on Saturday so that we can walk our socks off somewhere nice and I won’t have to worry about dinner when we get home.

The Beginning...
My name is Amanda and I currently weight 26st 7lbs. I started my weight loss 18/01/09 at my heighest weight 27st 5lbs and have just been trying to be good by cutting out snacking and bad foods and trying to just eat healthier. It wasn't working too well so I have turned to Weight Watchers.
I done a trial run before heading off to New York last week and lost 4lbs, so it's got to be worth persisting. I won't be going to meetings as we are trying to save money and I have all the tools I need at home. I always get weighed at the same Boots scales and normally on a Sunday.
I want to do this for me. I want to be able to go on a rollercoaster, fit into a seat on an airplane without asking for a seat belt extender, buy clothes from any shop I fancy, walk down the road without knowing people are staring and be able to ultimately look amazing in my wedding dress, which gives me a deadline of 10/10/2010.
I don't know if blogging will help, but I am willing to give it a go!
